I attended Grayslake Central High School from 2015-2019. I took a variety of elective courses from Woods, Metals, Intro to Engineering, and Foods. I developed a strong liking for Industrial Arts and Home Economics.
I enrolled in CLC in of summer 2019. I took an Intro to Philosophy course. Where we engaged in discussions and activities involving many Philosophical theories. Before the Covid-19 pandemic I was enrolled in the final class I took at the community college which was Sociology. The final required us to go out in public and break a social norm, which we were unable to do because of lockdown restrictions.
I am pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems with a Specialization in Cyber Security at DeVry University. I have taken a variety of courses in Networking, Cryptographic Algorithms, and Intrusion Detection. I enjoyed learning and programming projects in C++ as well as Python and JavaScript. I got hands-on experience with Azure Machine Learning and enjoyed that as well. Many of the labs were in the virtual machine lab setting, which helped me get a feel for how the training topics would be in a real-world setting. I am on track for graduating with my BA in the last week of April 2023, and will be getting my degree with Summa Cum Laude distinction. I am very eager to apply the knowledge I have gained over my educational journey and am excited for my future.
